Meet Brigg Danny

Isn't it amazing how your love just grows with each child? On October 12th @ 10:05 pm we welcomed our newest addition, Brigg Danny Palmer. It was a very quick delivery, which I was greatful for. He's healthy and perfect...I feel so happy and so blessed to have this new little man to raise. He was 7 lbs 5 oz, 20 1/2 inches long and came with a head full of dark hair. He looks like his daddy, very hadsome:) We love you so much Brigg and couldn't imagine life without you! Our family is better now that you're in it!

This picture was when I was just beginning to get uncomfortable. My Mother in law brought the boys over to say goodnight to Ryan and I. If only they knew what was about to happen to their mom, lol.

This is the moment when you realize that everything you've been through has been worth it! The 9 month pregnancy, the barfing, the feeling like a whale, the heartburn, the delivery aka the worst pain in the world....all of that doesn't even matter when you look down and see what you've got. You realize that there is nothing you wouldn't do for him. This is the first time I held my new son. Welcome to our family baby Brigg!!!

Meeting his brothers for the first time. Taeg and Tripp have been so great with him. He's had plenty of kisses and hugs! Brigg and his Daddy @ the hospital.

This is the day we brought Brigg home. I hope you love it here little man!!

My boys! This is what it's all about:)

It has been a CRAZY week for us! My Grandpa Morris passed away last Saturday afternoon. It was something we all knew would happen someday but it still was a shock. My parents headed over to St. George first thing Sunday morning and so did Shalie and Al. The rest of us left on Wed. The funeral was on Friday morning in St. George. I was asked to do the life history. I was kind of nervous but it was cool to get a chance to read stories about my Grandpa's life. The Funeral went really well. Everybody did a great job with their talks and it was good to see family that we haven't for a long time. I think the services were a great tribute to him and the man he was.

My Grandpa was buried in Elsinore, about 2 1/2 hours away. After the graveside Ryan and I decided to go to Nephi with Shalie and Alex for the rest of the weekend. My parents came to, which was nice. On Saturday we took the kids to the zoo and had a blast. (pictures coming soon). They loved the animals so much, especially the reptile place. I almost couldn't go in there because it reeked SOOO bad! I decided to man-up and go in so I didn't miss their reactions and I'm glad I did. They were so excited about all the big snakes and the crocodiles.

Last but not least.....We got an ultrasound while in St. George.

It's a boy! I thought I'd be more sad about not having a girl but I'm actually starting to get really excited about the idea of having another boy. Taeg and Tripp are both pretty pumped about it. I guess me and Marci will be in charge of having all the boys. :). Now my parents are going to have 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter!

makes sence right??

So poor little Tripp has had an ear infection for the past couple days. This morning I gave him his Tylenol chewable to keep his fever down. I told him to chew it up and I'd go get him some milk. He's usually pretty good at taking them but this morning he said "nope, don't lite it". I figured I'd reason with him and I told him it'll make his ears feel better.

"Otay", he said.

With that I headed into the kitchen to poor him a glass of milk. I came back and he was sitting on the couch with his Tylenol in his ear. I laughed so hard and said, "Trippy why is your medicine in your ear"?

"Mate it ears feel better", he said.

lol! I think the day when I no longer have a toddler @ home will be kinda sad for me:)

Blog worthy things

*well....still pregnant:) I'm a little over 12 weeks now and still feeling pretty awful. However, I do have some good news. I got these GREAT pills, and by great I mean heaven sent, called zofran. Anybody heard of them?? They're an anti-nausea pill given to cancer treatment patients. They're INCREDIBLY expensive so I figured there'd be no way I could get some but......our insurance paid for 45% so the pharmacist was cool enough to give me 24 pills in a 60 day period. Tomorrow is my last day
:(. When I say expensive I'm talking $1300.00 for 24 pills! They work great. You still feel sick but it helps so you're not puking every 20 minutes.

*I went to Vegas on a girls trip a couple weeks ago. I had SO much fun. Ryan stayed home with the boys and I went and played with some friends. My friend Cass flew in from SL to meet us there. It was great to spend time with her since it's been a while. We did a lot of shopping, always fun!! The first night we gambled until about 7am:) I'm proud to say I won $100 my first time @ the tables:) We ate a lot of great food and laughed until we were sore.

*I turned 27! Geez...old! I was traveling back fr Vegas on my B-day. When I got home that night Taeg was sleeping but Tripp and Ry were up. Tripp ran up to me and said over and over "happy birtday mommy, happy birtday mommy". "I miss you mommy". It was so great to be back with my boys.

*We went to St. George to see my grandparents and for baby Steel's blessing. It was so much fun to spend time with the family.

*Ry's cousin Logan came home from his mission. I'm glad he's home. He got to reunite with Taeg and meet Tripp. He looks great and seems like he's doing awesome.

*Tiff and Dev are having a baby boy!! So many little boys in the fam, so much fun!!

If mac-n-cheese could talk....

This is mine and Taeg's conversation during lunch today.

Taeg: Mom, I know why Peter pan left Wendy

Me: Why is that?

Taeg: Because she wanted him to give her a kiss.

Me: You don't think he wanted to kiss her?

Taeg: NO!

Me: Do you want to?

Taeg: NO WAY!!

Me: You don't think Wendy is pretty?

Taeg: No, but the mermaids are. I'd rather kiss a mermaid.

2 seconds later

Taeg: Never mind, I don't wanna kiss any girls but you

Me: *sigh* (happy inside:)) But what if you get married?

Taeg: Well I'm not going to marry a lady that barfs all day like you.

Me: (laughing inside) What if she gets pregnant?

Taeg: PPFFFF! SHe won't!!!!

And there you have it:)

details

Thank you all so much for the congrats! I can't believe my family of four will be a family of five soon! Insane!! So i'm 7 1/2 weeks right now, which puts me due Oct. 18th. I'm pretty much feeling like death. You forget how awful pregnancy makes you feel until it happens again. With Taeg's pregnancy I was sick the whole time. I remember trying not to puke on my big belly, lol. With Tripp I was only sick for about 4 months, so i'm hoping this is a pattern and I can start feeling better around 12 weeks. I wanted to hide the pregnancy longer but I knew the barfing every day would be a dead giveaway:) As you all know, I would LOVE a little girl but if Heavenly Father wants to send another boy...that's cool to:) Boys are fun and like Marci said in her comment, I know how to do boys:)

My awesome inlaws just came and picked up my boys for a day of outside playing, which means maybe I can catch up on some laundry:)

I've been eating a lot of pretzels and rice crispies. For the moment I no longer eat sweet pork burritos or lime yogurt:) I'll keep you all posted as things progress!
